The first 3 pictures I had to take with my phone because the font I used for the headline is no longer available.
The next piece is the updated one from the feedback I got last week. Edited the picture and made the text easier to read. Aligned some text as well.

I love the re-work on this! I think the font looks so much cleaner and more clear as a simple sans serif. The edited yellow and the black in the background makes it much more legible to read. Is there a reason you left out the logo on the new one?
ReplyDeleteAlex - I agree with Colleen, a much better and more contemporary approach to the design. I wonder about something:
ReplyDeleteIs the long quote that starts "It's our ambition..." getting lost? It seems important, and the intro paragraph above it seems to also be more important that simple body copy. I wonder if you thought about boxing this thin column in another color (a color found in a photo... not bring yellow, but possibly a more subtle, yet energetic, color)? You could play around with bleeding the box of the bottom of the page... breaking out of the established grid, giving some abstract energy to the layout.
What other elements do you need here? Client logo? Page folio, running head or foot if it is a magazine spread? If it isn't a mag spread - what is this? How can we tell? Add elements that will give us a clue?
on the first tomorrow land design i would bring it down a little more just so it lines up a little better with the paragraph below it. the every detail counts kinda throws me off when looking at the design. other then that i think this has a lot of potential
