Here is my current ad campaign. I took Art Direction as an online class and was not happy with the outcome so here is my (improved) version!
The client is Valspar Paint and these ad campaigns are designed to target to not just your every day person that wants to paint a wall in there house. After much research on Valspar and their advertising techniques I noticed their unique approach to painting a wall as more of an artistic and beautiful process.
I wanted to play off that idea, using Valspar as the only place for a true color perfectionist to shop at. Valspar is meant for people who want to paint their walls with colors inspired by their lives and things they do, places they do and things they see. Valspar is meant for people who don't just want "tan" but "sandy cove" instead because it reminds them of their vacation last year... I chose the approach of high saturated, editorial photography because I wanted to play back into the artistic feel Valspar has and I think the photos I chose really display beautiful, artistic photography.

2 pieces I'm stuck on
Hi guys, I am still working on redoing my ad campaign that will be my 10th project but here are two pieces that have lingered from my Portfolio 1 class that I can't decide what to do with. The new york cityscape is the one I'm really stuck on, and the Boston piece is one that I have never received feedback on yet. I will be posting my ad campaign soon!
